Ha! I got it free! I didn't pirate it, so don't jump to conclusions. My dad get freebies from Microsoft all the time. He runs an IT business.
I can tell you this: it's a LOT better than Vista.

University version here.. if I wanted to pirate it I'd have gotten Ultimate.. this way it's Professional.. but Professional = good too ^^

Should I upgrade to windows 7? How much better is it than Vista and why?

hetoan2

Definitely upgrade to windows 7.

Vista is fail. Too many reasons to explain vista's fail, but almost all the reasons are fixed in windows 7.

Check out my site with codes obviously...

I love vista, I think it's just a matter of preferance.

Unless I get a new computer, I'll be sticking with Ubuntu and running XP on Virtualbox if I need to (my computer doesn't have the necessary specs to run 7).

Even if I got a new laptop with Windows 7 pre-installed, I'd still wipe it and install Ubuntu (or another Linux distro if I tire of Ubuntu) and Win7 on a dual-boot setup.
Currently "retired" from hacking codes.

I got Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade.
This is one of the best os from Microsoft so far.
But i do like my Debian os Lenny and Slackware 13.0   :)
