Quick SSBB On the Fly Code Question

quick question about SSBB (US) On the fly code

i use wired GC controller

I did this offline, it worked like a charm :irule:

I tried this online (friendlies), the game instantly ended :cry

does the "On the Fly New" fix this? or am i doing something wrong? :(

On the fly basically kills your character off. So... in most modes it counts as never having been there / dieing.

In Boss battles in counts as a victory and passes you onto the next screen, in a 2 player match (or 4 player, with two players left) it counts as dropping out. (And... I don't believe it would work online anyway, no way for the opponents game to know you swapped out)
