GC Action Replay codes with WiiRD? howto?

I've had a USBGecko for a while now, and I am loving the Real-time cheat codes with WiiRD. I am just wondering if I can do the same with GC games. I really want to play Metroid Prime with cheat codes. Also, does it support Action Replay codes?

WiiRd itself supports Gamecube.. however, AR codes DO NOT work.. you need a way to run Gecko OS in Gamecube mode and then activate the codes in WiiRd (you WILL URGENTLY REQUIRE A USB GECKO!)

ah okay.. first of all: You need a gecko gamecube disc.. or a way to launch the geckoos107.dol for Gamecube mode (I am currently asking for people to collect the downloads of former usbgecko.com I do not have all of them myself unfortunately, I would like to mirror them). If you burn the disc of Gecko GC - you can launch it with a hardware modified Wii or with the Gamecube Backup launcher. Then start the game as usual - Gecko Gamecube can hook to Gamecube games.

Then you need:

and GCNCrypt which can decrypt AR codes.. then you can use WiiRd GUI to activate/deactivate codes in real-time.

As mentioned: for now.. I myself also need the downloads of Gecko gamecube tools again!

I will upload the dol and a copy of the disc soon... and if you don't have a moded wii you need to use a cMIOS and a backup loader

matt123337, I tried with gcos16d gamecube iso and gecko won't hook to gamecube backup game. I think it's because Gecko can't load backups. Are you saying that using a cMIOS gecko (gc edition) can load backups?

Gecko can load backups if MIOS is modified.. or if you have a modchip.. anyway: thanks for the discs..

[/quote]actually gecko can't load backups via cMIOS.. just tried and got "NO DVD" yet it loaded super mario sunshine (ligit) pirfectly without me closeing gecko... and working on getting the dol :D

for me to hook most games i have to do this Press B to load with MIOS then when i put a game in i let Wiird do all the hooking and running the disc :P
