I could look into it next time I hack TP. If that won't work, perhaps I could create an code for decreasing/increasing Health instead (by use of a joker).

That'd be a nice code for me.  The Infinite/Max Energy code don't work for me anyway so an Increase/Decrease Health code would make a good substitute.

Is there a tunic modifier for like black, green, red, blue, etc? Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong thread...

I doubt a tunic modifier would work considering I'm 90% sure the tunic is a texture...not a simple color like the N64 games.

lol it was done in gcn version of TP.... and it was done in SSBB even though it uses textures :P

It's on my (long) to hack list.

@GaseousSnake: there isn't a Infinite Magic code? I thought that there was.

I thought there was too, in my honest opinion, but I double-checked the current list of codes in the database and didn't find one.  An Infinite Magic code would be cool also.  ^^

And I'll tell you what, I'm gonna make an attempt to change one or a few of those v1 codes in order for them to work with v2.  Trial and error usually takes a lot of time, but eh, I've got time to kill.  I'm starting with that Infinite/Max Heart code.  Wish me luck.

The Infinite/Max Heart code works with the Master Code and Ocarina. But, it'd be nice to have the actual V2 code so it can be used with Gecko OS.

Also, this:
Instant Form Change (C+A)
0410A094 9421FFE0
2044BB64 00004800
0410A094 4BFB40FC
E0000000 80008000
Didn't seem to work with the Master Code on both Ocarina and Gecko OS.

That one would be a good one to convert also, that OK?

Press C and 2 to increase your health, or press C and 1 to decrease it. Depending on how long you hold the button combo, you'll lose different amounts (hold it shorter, it'll change less; hold it longer, it'll change more). Health address is credit to James0x57.

That's my first, simple ASM code. Oh, and I feel like an idiot now after realising that there is no magic in TP. :P

EDIT: I also saw some people who wanted a plain old health code without giving you all of the heart pieces, look below.

Infinite Health [James0x57]
0249292A 00000050
Does not modify number of Heart Pieces.

Heart Piece Modifier [James0x57]
02492928 000000xx
xx = any value between 0x05 and 0x64. Note that this is the number of Heart Pieces, not heart containers. To find out how many heart containers you'll get, just divide xx by 5. Also, do NOT set xx below 0x05. If you do, you will automatically die as soon as the game starts (as you are telling the game you have no heart containers).

As they aren't changed in any way other than the fact that I split them up into 16-bit writes, the credit is fully under James0x57's name.

Ummm...does that code work for the v1 Zelda or v2???  Because I have a v2 Zelda game and the code don't work for me.  I've tried short button pushes, and even held down the buttons, but it doesn't work.

Oh, and don't feel stupid about the magic question.  I honestly thought there was a magic meter in the game too, since it is a Zelda game and all.   :D

hawkeye2777

Oh sorry, it's for v1. All of my codes (unless otherwise stated) will be v1.

Speed Modifier (Press C, Z, and 2 to turn off/on) [hawkeye2777]
2844BB66 00006100
CC000000 00000000
48000000 8044B5CC
DE000000 80008180

2044BBC8 00000000
14002F0C 00000000
E0000000 80008000
Possible values for xxxxxxxxx (Floating Point):
x0.5 - 4180CCCD (Normal indoor walking speed)
x1.0 - 41B80000 (Normal running speed)
x1.5 - 420A0000
x2.0 - 42380000
x3.0 - 428A0000
x4.0 - 42B80000
x5.0 - 42E60000
You can replace those values with others if you like. Just be warned, you can go out of the stage if you set the values too high. Also, the indoor walking speed is faster than x0.5, but I think that is slow enough (the actual x0.5 is very slow). When the code is on, you run immediately once you press the analog stick. To stop, either turn the code off (C,Z,2) or let go of the analog stick. There is a slight delay in slowing down as well.

this is the RZDE01 code thread. RZDE02 is v2....
don't post in the wrong thread and ask if it works for a different game :|

Not quite. RZDE01 is the game ID for all NTSC-US TP games. The difference between the two versions is the code on the back of the disc.

v1: RVL-RZDE-0A-0 JPN OR RVL-RZDE-0A-0 USA
v2: RVL-RZDE-0A-2 USA

http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Twilight_Hack

So technically, there were three versions released, but only one was different than the other two.

could have sworn there was a different ID for it.... w/e

i'm giving you hacker status but you'll still need to get an account from james to put codes on the usbgecko site.
