I would ask the moderators here, as I'm not as familiar with how this board is run.

Anyway, I'd love to bring some working codes for v2 TP... but I don't have it nor do I know how to do a "Master Code" like James did. I do have friends who have Twilight Princess though, I should ask them if they have v2.

This code still has some issues, I may try to get them fixed eventually.  More specifically, entering certain areas causes the game to freeze, and in rooms where you have defeat all enemies to get a door to open the door may not open even if all enemies are defeated.

You seem like a nice guy I could trust, hawkeye2777.  If you want, I could send you my copy of Zelda v2, provided you send it back to me after you're done hacking it, of course.

hetoan2

if you have v1 and obtain a iso of v2 would you still technically own the backup or would it be different....

I wouldn't ask anyone to do that (besides, I couldn't ship it back as I'm completely broke :P). I obtained a RAM dump of v2, so I'll see what I can do as far as codes go. If future versions of that master code don't work at all for future codes/future Gecko OS versions, I think it'd be more worth it to make manual ports for all TP codes.

@brkirch: Is that just a 'visual effect' code, or is there more to it?

you could add movement possibly by adding an activator to lock the value by pressing a certain value.

nop the address at 8044B5CC (i think) and then set back to normal after you let go of the buttons?

might not be able to be done depending on if the air up that high is a solid object or not.... (some games it is...  like accf)

It just changes the appearance of the sword.

BTW, I should be able to make a code for this soon:

The pointer is used for other things, so nopping the pointer is a bad idea (speed is one example).
