Thing is with Zelda games is that you want to be able to go out straight away and explore. With twilight process I hated being confined to certain missions and tasks for quite a while at the start and I hated being the wolf and having to do more tasks.

I really fancied playing it all again this morning but then I remembered the first half and I can't be bothered to do all that. need a game save just after it's all done

Actually, if you look at the whole picture you'll notice that there's no sword in Links hand. Only a shield.

In an interview with Nintendo Power Miyamoto said, "... one thing that's important to note in that artwork, though, is that Link is carrying a shield, but that's all he's carrying."

He also said, "I want Zelda games to create personalized memories of the experience within each player, especially where dungeons and puzzles are concerned."

Sounds to me like the girl's a sword and will be like midna in TP. A weapon of her own. Although link without a sword is kinda lame...
