GC Gecko OS Question on Video Mode

I am using Gamecube version Gecko OS and wanted to know if you guys could help me.
Anyway, I'm using NTSC-U F-Zero GX on an NTSC-U Wii, and wanted to know if I can change the video mode
of it to PAL 50? My guess is not...I also  have an NTSC TV...so is it at all possible?
Never really messed around with the force region options before...
The reason if you want to know is for snaking- F-Zero GX runs 20% slower in PAL 50 to make up for supposed lag
