GeckoOs virtual console hacking, It doesn't seem to work for me

Every time i try to use cheats for virtual console (geckoos 1.9.1), it doesn't seem to work or the game is acting weird (mario running in only one direction).
I even tried this guide http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php/topic,3296.0.html , but still nothing.

Can somebody help me out?

I used the hover Mario code.

After that i switched to the 99lives and unlimited heath code, same result :(

thats because of that code, mario is acting like that because of the code... which means that Gecko works.

But how can i get the code to work?
BTW, the codes for NAEP paper mario 64 don't work at all.

One of the few N64 codes that seem to work are those for NACE The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Are you sure you're using the correct region? It might just be because of that...

the cheats on paper mario the pal version work and i even use a  wad to get it and the codes work for me same as majoras mask its just ur doing something wrong so it may be something ur doing to get the codes not working
