New to Gecko OS and completely confused

Hey, and thanks to anyone who replies to this.

Ok ive just started using gecko OS and im completely lost. I'm using it mostly to hack the game Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (RFEE01) USA, and so far some of the codes work for me like the bonus exp and max gold, as well as Infinite health on enemy turn and weapons blessed after player turn, but I cannot get the item creation codes to work nor the codes to edit my characters skills. Can someone please tell me how to actually do this correctly.

For those codes i have entered the values of the skills and such but when i start up my game they dont change anything or my wii just freezes

Well, because of the way you get characters...the adresses change, so you need to add values and such...

Also, a warning for BEXP codes: if you have it on while starting some chapters, the game will freeze.
At some points you may need to set your BEXP back to Zero, to do this change the last 32 bits of the code to 0's
(89000000 XXXXXXXX) (In this "code" the X's are the last 32 bits)
