Just downgraded to 2.2U, and I am wondering if there is a way to reupgrade to 4.0U, but allow myself to do the explotes. like install wad files.

Help as soon as possible would be appreciated since the 15-20 second load to time access the Wii Menu is putting me on edge.

To 2.2? Two point two? Not 3.2... wow!

Well, for upgrading: get Waninkoko's upgrader.. this will keep the exploits in IOSes <= 36.. additionally you can get preloader which force patches your IOS60 to support trucha signed games!

I just followed ssbbdude's video tutorial. And the options were 4.0 or 2.2. Maybe I missed 3.2? Anyways...

For some reason, it doesn't show up on my homebrew. Did I go to far back?

Romaap

Maybe that was a spelling mistake, because 3.2 is the best firmware (for those who use homebrew) in my opinion.

When downgrading you get the options from 2.0 - 3.3  3.4 & 4.0 arent an option

RIGHT!

I upgraded(?) to 3.2U, although both the WAD manger and Waninkoko's upgrader do not appear on the homebrew menu. Everything else I have shows, but not those. Help?

Jassim

with the new firmware downgrader you do.

oh and dont go to 2.0 trust me, it is hell on earth, everythings so slow, it takes like 30 secs for the sys menu to load up.

and btw the sd menu isnt that great

do NOT pm me to request a code or if you have any problems with my code.

Do you have the boot.dol in the correct place?
You should have something like this:
SD:\apps\<appname>\boot.dol

It's not called 'boot.dol' I'll give that a shot. Tommorow since I have work in 6 hours. If you want to move this thread, you can.

And thanks everyone for helping me.

Well, the SD Menu is quite nice when you have quite a few N64 VC games. Before I had to copy them all to SD, and switch out games on my wii if I wanted to play an n64 game i didn't have on their at the time cause of small storage space- now when friends come over we can easily play an n64 game they like I have but not currently on my Wii :)
