R.H.

So far there are 6 users I found on the board confirming that codes for "Majora's Mask" doesn't work:

PAL users: MRDSBOY, TT1337, DUSK_TILL_DAWN and myself
NTSC-US users: crazy brawler and SoLuS xX

The possibility that we all make the same mistakes is quite low, isn't it.
And the only users who confirm the codes do work have the "hacker" status, thus it appears that they use USB GECKO.

I wonder if some sort of a "Must Be On" code is needed to get these codes working for GeckoOS-only users or if only an update of GeckoOS could solve this problem. At least I hope there's a solution at all. ;_;

It doesn't make sense with the Jesus Mode code though; that should be working no matter what.. I'll do further testing to try and find a solution.

TT1337

I've tried many, many Majora's Mask codes, none of them were working.

- Wii Firmware 3.2E
- All VC-Games are hacked, but they are not injected. (The games are all PAL!)
- Cheats are working with Wii-Games, but not with any of my VC-Games.
- The Jesus-Mode (walking on water) works perfectly.
- Tried every code on every game on this board, but none of them were working except the Jesus-Mode
- Have Gecko OS 1.9.1
- SD-Card-Cheats are "ON" all the time
- Gecko OS says always "SD-Codes found. Applying", but nothing is happening in the game.
- My codes are saved under "SD-Card:\codes\NARP.gtc" for example

I don't get it what's wrong =/

Ideas?

In your gecko os options, try turning the debugger on (even though you don't have a usb gecko). See if that changes anything..

TT1337

Same result: "SD-Codes found. Applying"

Still no result during the game.

Also I've tried Zelda MM, Zelda OoT, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64. All of them are PAL and NOT injected. Used all PAL codes I've found on this board, but they aren't working... =(

What can I do?

Same result as TT1337, it doesn't change anything. What if for some reason nintendo sent out different versions of the game? Such as how TP has v1 and v2?

I suspect one of 2 things is happening. This code for NTSC-US (NARE) should help determine what it is:

Time Freeze [hetoan2]
04B2F6B0 60000000

Let me know if that code works.

TT1337

~ When I try it as NARE.gtc
-> No SD-Codes found. Nothing happens

~ When I try it as NARP.gtc
-> SD-Codes found. Appyling. Still nothing happend.

:'(

James0x57

There is no pal version of that code. I thought I made it obvious that someone with the NTSC-US version should test it.

TT1337

NTSC always has about 500 codes for a game and PAL has maybe 8 codes for the same game ._.

Doesn't seem to work unfortunatly.

It should work...

games are now being sent out with error 002 protection and I heard that there is a newer version (002b) that might be causing issues. It could have moved values around if they did release a different version, but my ASM code should stay the same. If you can find someone with this error and a USBgecko it could probably help you figure it out.

I cant test James' codes right now because I'm on vacation in a hotel.

Check out my site with codes obviously...

If I can obtain the wad file my cousin used would there be any way to get a code dump that you would be able to use? I don't own a USB gecko unfortunately.
I've tested it 5 times over just to be sure, doesn't seem to work for me.

If Jesus mode works and that code doesn't, then it is the case that game's memory is different in some way. (which is somewhat more easy to solve than if the codes were getting overwritten)

It may be a version issue (as hetoan2 suggests) or it may be an issue with the USB Gecko/Gecko OS/WiiRD. I'll do a couple tests now to find out.

[edit]
Okay, it is the case that all you people with problems have a different version of the game. So once again, there will need to be two sets of codes for the same game id. How annoying.
If I could get that stupid TP v2 M code to work with the current Gecko OS then I could change it just a bit to work on Majora's Mask too.
Either way, we need someone with that version of the game and a USB Gecko to get a RAM dump for code porting.

I don't know if you know or remember but just adding in that Jesus mode isn't working for me. Just adding that in for safety precautions.
