but jassim's a pirate and wouldn't know weather it was the real NTSC-J or if it had a NTSC rom injected -.-

not that people really care - most important is.. if codes are tested non-working they should be removed..

ok fine, ill just remove them, sorry im such a retarded pirate that got this game PURELY for making codes and sorry i made the effort to TRY and make some codes for this game for the sake of japanese wii owners. for your information this has been released in japan, my codes are crap (i admit it myself) but seriously if theyre that bad that you want them removed from the forum then all you had to do was ask.

do NOT pm me to request a code or if you have any problems with my code.

Well, it would be easier, if it were also separated in Regions.
Also some Games are not working on the Wii itself with several codes, like my problem with SimCityCreator, having the MoneyCode from DrPepper only working in (non-standard)english Language.

dude leave him alone.  He is contributing to the code section.  Who cares if he pirated some $10 N64 game, just to make codes?  I think he has done no wrong.

Ho-oh

I would prefer if we just make an additional subforum for VC/WW cheats on every region board, mixing them up would just be a serious pain in the ass for everybody and nobody would benefit from it.

ssbbdude

theres about 14 regions so be my guest :P

Jassim

perhaps we could have J, U, P and other?

A   All regions. System channels like the Mii channel use it.
D   German-speaking regions. Only if separate versions exist, e.g. Zelda: A Link to the Past (JADD)
E   USA/Canada and other NTSC regions except Japan
F   French-speaking regions. Only if separate versions exist, e.g. Zelda: A Link to the Past. (JADF)
I   Itallian
J   Japan
K   Korea
L   Japanese Import to Europe, Australia and other PAL regions
M   American Import to Europe, Australia and other PAL regions
N   Japanese Import to USA and other NTSC regions
P   Europe, Australia and other PAL regions
Q   Korea with Japanese language.
S   Spanish
T   Korea with English language.
X   Not a real region code. Homebrew Channel uses it, though.

Ok, I was thinking have it split Area wise, basicly you have Europe, Asia, USA and Korea.

So for example in the Europe one you would have as Child Boards:

A, D, F, I, L, M, P and S

For USA

A, E and N

Japan:

A and J

Korea:

A, K, Q and T

BTW I just found out Itallian is a region to :D and Spanish :D

Well, those defenitely wouldn't be sub forums.. they have to be clearly markered like ("The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past [JADF] (French version)")

Basically it could already happen that even disc based games have German/French only version just as of now no such game exists.
For Korea: admittedly I haven't seen anyone requesting Korea boards yet so I didn't care. With Europe, North America and Japan I guess the major regions are covered (admittedly Japan consoles are also sold in Singapore, Taiwan or Hong Kong if I recall correctly but well, it's kinda the same that according to Nintendo, Australia belongs to Europe ;) ) - the few Korean users here were more interested in getting their Korea Wiis converted to US Wiis ^^

WHAT316

Im new to Gecko OS app.  I have used it in my Homebrew Channel for most import games.  I heard you can use Ocarina for VC and Wiiware games using Gecko OS.  Yet, I dont know how to get the cheats to work.  I got Gecko OS 1.9.1, yet im still puzzled on how you get Ocarina codes to work for VC and Wiiware games.  Any help would be really great.  Thank you.

James0x57

You use Gecko OS 1.9.1 for the WiiRD codes. In the options you can turn "SD Cheats" to YES. Then you just have to have the .gct file on the SD card with the rest of them like normal.

WHAT316

I do have SD Cheats set to YES.  Everything I load up a channel it says "No SD Cheats found."  Even though I have the gct. file on the SD card, somehow it doesnt find them.  I tried finding a video on how to do it, but I couldnt find any.

James0x57

The gct should be named NARE.gct
And what program did you use to create the gct?

WHAT316

I use the Code Manager for PC.  It does fine for Wii titles, but nothing for VC or Wiiware.  I tried numerous times, to no prevail.  I tired saving it and putting it to my SD card and still "No SD Cheats Found."  What am I doing wrong?

James0x57

You're naming the file incorrectly. For WW and VC it will be the four (4) character ID then ".gct"
They also go into the codes/ directory.
That's the only reason it wouldn't be found.
