4.0/4.1 update

Waninkoko's 4.0 updater isnt appearing in the HBC, ive placed the downloaded files in the apps folder but its not appearing on my HBC menu to install it

make sure its inside a folder called updater which should be inside apps.

also make sure the dol file is boot.dol and not something like updater.dol

waninkoko always has his files not named boot.dol

they never come with a folder, image, or xml either.

only 2 readme's one is english other is espanol

Awesome! Installed the need Ios' Cios' and the updater and now ive got the SDVC feature and the games on their load fine, the HBC and Gecko OS work fine with the codes working for games and the new shop channel is runnign again

One more thing I would do is patch IOS 60. Waninkoko's updater doesn't patch any of them, but if you do patch IOS 60 then you can load homebrew wads from the SD card. Doing this may also bring back the No-copy flag remover from gecko OS's rebooter.

dont move any homebrew to the sd card until you patch ios 60 or you'll be screwed.

yes you can. as long as you have homebrew before.

id recommend a cios and trucha patched ios's tho.

Hetoan2: I think ive already done that, I googled the patcher and it came across a page with the file for the IOS patcher which I had already used along with installing the updater, so I think im all set then =)

all honesty its not worth it, and dont get overexcited and move your homebrew channel to the sd menu *cough*...ssbbdude...*cough* cos youll regret it.

i wouldnt have copied EVERYTHING and THEN tried to load, i'd try one thing that i could put back easily.... like wad manager channel .... but i know how ssbbdude feels, when 3.3v2 came out i updated, then some annoying family member deleted it :| luckily a workaround came out soon (and i used twilight hack cause that still worked...) hope a workaround cames out for ya ssbbdude!

I don't intend to copy HBC over since it may be dangerous, but I just wanted the SD feature so i can save VC games and channels onto the card and load off the card instead, Im hoping nintendo will be able to allow saves for VC games and Wii games to be loaded off of SD card instead of having to have them on the system, that way the SD cards will act like a PROPER memory card.
