My girlfriend and I are actually at this point in Okami (got it last week on newegg for $20!), but it's our first play so it's hack-free at the moment.  Once we beat the game, I will start writing hacks for it.  Am I gathering that you want an all items code that doesn't include key items?

*nods* yeah. I have a feeling, that getting all of the key items early, can corrupt the continuation of the game; which a flag does not activate( which should have activated ) once I get the key item at that specific point in the game, and doesn't let you continue onto the game and complete it. this can be the reason why that some people have problems with continuing the game with the all items code with the key items. maybe the all items code without the key items can fix this problem.

You can use this instead of infinite items.  Once you have at least one of an item, it will never go away.

Fools the game into thinking you have the Fire Tablet, Water Tablet, Golden Lucky Cat, Thief's Glove, Golden Ink Pot, Peace Bell, Wood Mat, and String of Beads all equipped all the time, even if they actually aren't.  Note that you still get to collect all the stray beads.

*sweat drops* yeah, there is three more artifacts, actually.
the wood mat is one of them, and so is string of beads.
the peace bell keeps the demon scrolls at bay. don't want any attacks that you don't need, do you? o.o
the wood mat lets you heal while you're resting. X3
the string of beads is the best artifact there is in the game, but you would have-to get all of the stray beads you find in the game to get it. >3> string of beads does infinite life and ink. pretty nifty, huh? ;3

Ah yes, I remember seeing those artifacts, but my save doesn't have them yet.

Thanks to Permanent Vengeance Slip, you can't get hurt by enemies (also, enemies stumble when they hit you, and you don't stumble, and Godhood doesn't go down either), which is way more useful than infinite health, which the String of Beads will give you anyway.  So Wood Mat isn't too useful, and since it consumes money, I don't think we want this active all the time.

String of Beads would still be useful, except for Permanent Inkfinity (which is coincidentally glitch-free no matter how many ink pots you have).  I do believe that String of Beads is supposed to give you 10x attack power too, so it's still useful.  In fact, you won't need Permanent Inkfinity any more unless you like the color-changing ink pots...

Peace Bell would definitely be useful.

Thanks for the feedback!  I'll have to modify this code.

FYI, current plans are also extending the Veil of Mist timer and reducing the speed-modifier timer.  Considering an infinite double jump, which may or may not be easy.  Also, infinite wall jump would be nice too, again if it's easy.  Can you think of any other yummy hacks?

Soldjermon

oks! :D
another 'yummy' hack, is to get all of the equipment weapons, since because that just using the Wii remote for the attacks does get tiring real quickly. hence the reason why that there needs to be a sub weapon to balance that out. o3o

Fixed the Holy Artifacts code.  Wood Mat doesn't take your money if you have full health, and it makes nice flowers when you lay down, so I'm leaving it.

EDIT: You probably don't need Permanent Inkfinity or Permanent Steel Fist Sake anymore (when you have the String of Beads, Inkfinity and Steel Fist Sake are greyed out in the menu), but Permanent Vengeance Slip is still useful.  Even with the String of Beads you still stumble when you get hit.

According to dcx2, this is where I should post requests regarding this game.

Ahem, so, while randomly browsing, I found that some new codes were made for the Japanese version not available to other regions, due to being so recent. Dunno if someone's already on it or not, but... Just to bring it to your attention, yeah.

I dunno what that Fortune Ball is, though... I don't remember a Fortune Ball in the game... Maybe it's Praise?

Uhh...praise is the best guess I could come up with too.  I posted an infinite praise code in the main thread (I really should post my codes to the web site...), but it's 8 lines instead of 1.

Speed Up just makes you run faster?  brkirch made an always run at full speed...does ZiT's move faster than that?

That code looks difficult, I'd probably need to chat with ZiT on how it was made, because there's a lot of jumping around.  I do see what looks like a float, the 41000000 in the second to last line...that's actually an 8

From the video, I couldn't tell how the size code worked, or what it really does...

EDIT: Haha, I watched the video again and I saw Amaterasu changing size at the beginning.  I must have missed that.  I'll see what I can do...

I put that "Fortune Ball" in there because I wasn't sure what it was, name-wise.
The Speed-Up doesn't seem to require being on the ground to start up and it probably is Floating Point, making it customizable.

EDIT: BTW, dcx2, I was testing out codes for fun and noticed that, with the "Always Have all Eight Holy Artifacts" code, sometimes the Holy Artifacts turn off when you enter an area. Pausing the game fixes it, though.

Yoshi - Do all artifacts stop (i.e. Wood Mat, String of Beads, Issun's thief skill)?  I only ever noticed the Water Tablet would stop working.  I remember noticing that occasionally I would fall into the water again, but bringing up the items menu always fixed it.  Perhaps I need to hook a different address...

Do you have any holy artifacts on?  Maybe you need one or two on, so that the game asks if you have any on.

ZiT - Thanks for the screenshot. ^_^

I was doing a one-time test, so I left the current artifacts equipped(Lucky Cat, Peace Bell, and something I forgot). It was just the Water Tablet that turned off, as you said. I assumed it was all of them, but it didn't seem like all of them were off.
Not really a problem, I just thought I'd say something about it.

dcx2

I appreciate the feedback.   ;D

I think the Water Tablet is checked differently from the other holy artifacts, but if that's really the only one that fails, I don't think it's too big of a deal.  I'll make a note on the thread about the glitching Water Tablet though.

Okay so I got a little problem here, I've tried every method I could think of. As far as creating the TXT file and using the cheats etc. But once it actually starts the game nothing happens. The screen just turns blank! well not blank, it turns green and has two black bars on the side. Umm here's a little more stuff to help out :s
Wii: US baught
Okami: US bought
Homebrew apps: Cheat code manager version 0.3  + Ocarina
Cheat list used: US version

I'm not sure if this'll help any but here's the codes I'm trying to use.
All "Have *insert name here*" codes for weapons
Have All brush teqniques
Infinite wall jump/double jump
Have all artifacts: (The one that tricks your wii into thinking you have them equipped even if you don't have them)

I can record a video of what happens if it helps?
Basically everything works fine until Ocarina actually 'starts' the game. Then the wii freezes and won't respond to the wi remote.

Oh and my wii menu version is 4.2 u if that means anything :s
