WiiRd with Gamecube Games ?

Hi,

I've see when we can use WiiRdGUI codes with a Gamecube game. But, when I want to launch a GC Game with GeckoOS from HRC or GCmod, I got an error because the game isn't a Wii DVD o_O.

And when I try to launch with GeckoClient, I got this error :

boot the same way as you did to get into Gamecube mode with this

when it boots start WiiRd..just like Gecko OS.. not all gamecube games work thou ..
You need a mode chip to Load the disc.

I got this error with the GeckoOS ISO.... And the game with I try is ZeldaTP GC..

so you have tried Gecko V1.06d for gamecube mode then to boot your gamecube game.
some games do not work this must be one of them..:sad:
I have two  gamecube game which do not work as well..

You need to have a modhip installed...I tried everything I could think of when my drive went bad and had to re-install a chip....there is no way around getting into GC mode without a modchip...I think I lost sleep over this....LOL

I have a chip but sd media launcher is the way i do it with the dol file it works with out a chip two..

Uh, I try with all my GCgames, and I got the same error at all... :sad: ( Sonic Adv 2, SSBM, Zelda TWW, Luigi'sMansion, MarioSunshine, NFSUnderground2, and, ShadowTheHedgehog ).

And I try with the GeckoClient for dump a Wii Game and GCgame, I got always the same error :mad:

But, when I play with a WiiGame with WiiRdGUI, it's work, codes and screenshots. I don't understand...

do you try to run Gamecube games using Gecko OS on the Wii homebrew channel? Or do you try to run them in gamecube mode (on a real gamecube, using sd media launcher, self-burnt gc disc).

Gamecube games do not function in Wii mode, thus Gecko OS started via homebrew channel, the Wii twilight exploit or as a channel is incapable of debugging GC games.

WiiRd itself should be able to handle gc games fine!

You need a method to get your Wii into gamecube mode first.. Gecko OS can't do that for you!
