santa the hero

Whenever I use the the Wifi Multiplayer so I can have two players in online anyone (made by Phantomwings) I always have the same problem.

The very few times I get to be host and have that second player, he can't move even with his controller.

How do I over come this problem!

This is the music ID for Battlefield Ver. 2 for the Music Modifier code.

I don't know if this will help anyone.

Ya know the moveset swap code? Do you add them like normal codes? How do you actually use them in the game?

Edit: Now I know how to add them, but the ones i've tried haven't worked.

Peach with MK's
DK with Diddy's
Mario with Luigi's

And they just freeze the Wii and I have to unplug it from the back.

How do I fix this???

That's what I did.

I'd put the code of Peach ontop, then MK's, and it'd freeze when I was selecting the characters in Training Mode. Same with the other combos.

Austin

some people freeze when moveswapping. theres a code to prevent that but i dont know it...

What is the exact code you entered? I don't want the name you put or the moveswap, give me the exact code to see what you did wrong.

shangoa

hey igglyboo i tried out the friction mod you posted but the codes you put to replace the XXXXXXX doesn't work for me. I tried using the codes from the character speed mod but every one i use it just removes all friction.

Also is there a code for the speed mod that is between 1.0(normal) and 1.5. I tried altering these codes to get a better balance but all that happens is that i get the modded speed but when any character runs for a while, they warp back a little. I can't remember if it was you or someone else who made this speed code but i like but just want it to be better since i don't understand the hexidecimal calculations.

Austin

thats because the codes he posted werent for the X values. they werent floating points, unless im wrong... use a floating point converter and put in the values he posted then convert it and try that.

Powerbomb

What is the code for starting a vs. match with only one player? I've looked in the SSBB code thread and I couldn't find it (I'm either blind or overlooking things).

v1.3 - fixed one of the leading causes for the freezing.
v1.2 - No longer have to wait in the CSS before textures are loaded. Remains untested, so expect at least a bit of freezing maybe.
v1.1 - Fixed to work for stages.
v1.0 - Replaces all files read from the disk with any files of the same name on the SD card.

Disable Custom Stages v1.1:

Now here's the tricky part everyone seems to have trouble with understanding. It is not very hard to understand at all, read carefully. Make the following directory (meaning folders) in your SD Card:

private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter

Now, inside fighter you would create a specific folder for each character based on how their names are stored on the disc, the list for that is below.

Code:
Captain Falcon: captain
King Dedede: dedede
Diddy Kong: diddy
Donkey Kong: donkey
Falco: falco
Fox: fox
Mr. Game & Watch:gamewatch
Ganondorf: ganon
GIGA Bowser: gkoopa
Ike: ike
Kirby: kirby
Bowser: koopa
Link: link
Lucario: lucario
Lucas: lucas
Luigi: luigi
Mario: mario
Marth: marth
Meta Knight: metaknight
Ness: ness
Peach: peach
Pikachu: pikachu
Captain Olimar: pikmin
Pit: pit
Ivysaur: pokefushigisou
Charizard: pokelizardon
PokÈmon Trainer:poketrainer
Squirtle: pokezenigame
Ice Climbers: popo
Jigglypuff: purin
R.O.B.: robot
Samus: samus
Sheik: sheik
Snake: snake
Sonic: sonic
Zero Suit Samus:szerosuit
Toon Link: toonlink
Wario: wario
Warioman: warioman
Wolf: wolf
Yoshi: yoshi
Zelda: zelda
Green Alloy: zakoball
Yellow Alloy: zakochild
Blue Alloy: zakogirl
Red Alloy: zakoboy

So, a directory for Sonic would look like this: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/sonic

6. Once you have all the folders you want for the characters you want textures for, visit a few texture sites (listed below) to grab cool textures you like (this list will likely grow over time):

Stack Smash
Kitty Corp.

7. Once you have the textures you want, you need to name the texture file the color you want to replace. Each number represents a color of that character, so, 00 = default, 01 = first color, 02 = second color and so on. Now, the order of the colors can be quite confusing for each character so here is a convenient list of that below.

Code:

Here's an example of what a Sonic texture file would be named if it were replacing his 01 color: FitSonic01.pcs

And here's what the directory would look like with that finally included: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/sonic/FitSonic01.pcs

Every character does NOT need their .pac file but, you need to name the .pac file the same way you named the .pcs file except without the .pcs extension (just the .pac extension instead) so Sonic's .pac file would look like this: FitSonic01.pac (of his first color, you need to change the number according to what you set it to for the .pcs, this is merely an example, it will not always be 01). The characters who DO need their .pac files are below:

Code:
Samus/ZSS
Zelda/Sheik
PT
Bowser
Wario.pac

files are mostly used for the other modes outside of versus modes, so, you do not need them if they are not the characters above. The reason why the characters above need them are for their transformations, otherwise, the textures get lost in the sea of the abyss when you transform or switch (PT). Also, for ZSS, you may need to use a CSS code with her to get her to work better (as her textures need to be loaded from the CSS if you are using v 1.1).

(the codes should apply, if they do not, you need to make sure you have everything set up right with your .gct), when you get to the CSS there's two things you need to do based on which set of codes you are running with (v 1.1 of File Replacement or v 1.3).

a. If you have v 1.1 instead of v 1.3 for whatever reason, when you select a color, you need to wait for your Wii to stop loading/making noises. Otherwise, if you press start right as you've selected your color, bad things can happen (your texture won't work for one and for another, you may encounter freezing issues). If your Wii freezes, simply press and hold the Power button for 7 seconds (most people don't know about this and unplug their Wii, not the most recommended choice hehe).

b. If you have v 1.3, you can just go ahead and press start once you've selected your color. MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE DISABLE CUSTOM STAGES V 1.1 WITH THIS CODE! OTHERWISE, IT WILL NOT WORK RIGHT!

9. If your textures did not work, make sure your directory is set up accordingly or you didn't mess up on the color choice, check EVERY color if you really don't know which one you put it on. The codes DO work, you're just doing something wrong.

10. Otherwise, you have done it! Congratulations! You have successfully put textures on your Wii! These textures are in no way permanent, you have to load the codes each time you want access to them and NOBODY WILL SEE THEM ONLINE UNLESS THEY HAVE THE SAME CODES ON AS YOU AND THE SAME TEXTURES AS YOU! Also, Gecko OS has a 256 line limit (due to the Wii's RAM limit) so please try not to add anymore codes than that after the texture codes have been applied. Textures also do not show up in replays if you watch them without the codes on (in other words, the replays do not store texture data). However, Snapshots DO save the textures even without the codes on (this is obvious) so you can show off to your friends that you can do texture hacking now!

And no, this does not work for custom music.

hopefully someone will port this is PAL soon.

mkarim85

i have problems with these codes: infinite shield and infinite jump. i use this in boss battles mode and the game freezes.
can someone help me?

steven69

Either the code is wrong, or the game can't read having those cheats on fighting boss battle. try one code at a time to see if it's one of them

v1.3 - fixed one of the leading causes for the freezing.
v1.2 - No longer have to wait in the CSS before textures are loaded. Remains untested, so expect at least a bit of freezing maybe.
v1.1 - Fixed to work for stages.
v1.0 - Replaces all files read from the disk with any files of the same name on the SD card.

Disable Custom Stages v1.1:
046B841C 48000040

Use to remove the last of the freezing.

Now, if you encounter any bugs or constant freezes with the File Replacement v 1.3 and Disable Custom Stages v 1.1 you can use the older version of the File Replacement code without Disable Custom Stages and have to wait for the game to load the texture before pressing start to the Stage Select Screen. This version of the code is below:

Now here's the tricky part everyone seems to have trouble with understanding. It is not very hard to understand at all, read carefully. Make the following directory (meaning folders) in your SD Card:

private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter

Now, inside fighter you would create a specific folder for each character based on how their names are stored on the disc, the list for that is below.

Code:
Captain Falcon: captain
King Dedede: dedede
Diddy Kong: diddy
Donkey Kong: donkey
Falco: falco
Fox: fox
Mr. Game & Watch:gamewatch
Ganondorf: ganon
GIGA Bowser: gkoopa
Ike: ike
Kirby: kirby
Bowser: koopa
Link: link
Lucario: lucario
Lucas: lucas
Luigi: luigi
Mario: mario
Marth: marth
Meta Knight: metaknight
Ness: ness
Peach: peach
Pikachu: pikachu
Captain Olimar: pikmin
Pit: pit
Ivysaur: pokefushigisou
Charizard: pokelizardon
PokÈmon Trainer:poketrainer
Squirtle: pokezenigame
Ice Climbers: popo
Jigglypuff: purin
R.O.B.: robot
Samus: samus
Sheik: sheik
Snake: snake
Sonic: sonic
Zero Suit Samus:szerosuit
Toon Link: toonlink
Wario: wario
Warioman: warioman
Wolf: wolf
Yoshi: yoshi
Zelda: zelda
Green Alloy: zakoball
Yellow Alloy: zakochild
Blue Alloy: zakogirl
Red Alloy: zakoboy

So, a directory for Sonic would look like this: private/wii/app/RSBE/pf/fighter/sonic

6. Once you have all the folders you want for the characters you want textures for, visit a few texture sites (listed below) to grab cool textures you like (this list will likely grow over time):

Stack Smash
Kitty Corp.

7. Once you have the textures you want, you need to name the texture file the color you want to replace. Each number represents a color of that character, so, 00 = default, 01 = first color, 02 = second color and so on. Now, the order of the colors can be quite confusing for each character so here is a convenient list of that below.

Code:

01-Blood Hawk
02-Green
03-Blue
04-Black

And no, this does not work for custom music.

hopefully someone will port this is PAL soon.[/spoiler]

Is there any reason why Mr. Game and Watch can not be edited?
