Ok, I've been trying to get some basic codes to work on this game, but every time I try to load them up, the system gives me a message stating to connect a nunchuk or classic controler.  I'm using ocarina through Gecko, have all latest upates and everything.  And the only code of OnkelLes that I using is Inf Presents.  As well as the 9,999,999G, Inf Stamina, & Never Drowsy Codes.

Why is it doing this?

I had this same problem just now, and for anyone who has it in the future, or who is capable of fixing it, it's either the Stamina or Drowsy codes that are doing it. I booted through Ocarina, and, as everyone has said, everything is hunky dory. Didn't bother with Gecko 1.07b because I'm lazy.

Symptoms caused by whichever code is responsible were massive lag times (I'd say at least 1/10th the usual framerate) and failure to reliably recognize the presence of a Nunchuk or Classic Controller. Upon inserting the Nunchuk (don't have a CC, so I couldn't test), the game would advance a single frame and prompt me to insert the Nunchuk again.

So, yeah. If someone has the time and the kindness, it'd be cool if you looked into why this happens. The only codes I had running that are listed in the OP are the Stamina and Drowsiness modifiers.

I am currently trying to use four of the codes:

Money 9,999,999
04473DFC 0098967F

Infinite Stamina
04473E18 02E402E4

Never get tired
04473E1c 00000000

30 slot Rusksack
0447F070 001E001E

I can get the game to load with GeckoOS 1.7b and with Ocarina, but although both are saying that they've applied the codes, the game does not reflect any of them. I have read the other posts on this subject, and tried all the various advice to fix the problem, but they still do not work for me. Please help.

I have 4.3U, the latest Homebrew channel, GeckoOS 1.9, GeckoOS1.7b.

Thank you.

Do you know if there is a second version of Tree of Tranquility? The IDs may be the same, but if the version is different the codes might not work.

Oh? Failed to read the rules? You're already dead.

After searching Google, I have not seen anything indicating there is more than one version of the US game.

Arudo

Odd. As far as I can tell, you're using the same codes that were posted in the section, so there shouldn't be any issue, besides any problems that they had previously. However as the game is rather dated, and the hackers that have worked on this have been long gone, it's hard to see any 'fixes' for it for now. I don't have this game so I can't really help you anymore than that.

Yeah, I noticed the last threads on this game weren't all that recent. I was hoping someone had the same problem and figured out a work-around. I've tried all I can think of. Using a pc cheat manager, using the cheat manager on Homebrew, three versions of GeckoOS, Ocarina, I even completely reinstalled Homebrew and all the other stuff with it.

Thanks for the help though!

If your not using English Language, than try booting the game in English, these are ram write codes, Some Ram writes move in mem depending on the Language.

edit: I'm just guessing by the way, I don't have the game nor did i make the codes.

To see what version of the game you have, look at the inner ring of the game's disc, like in this pic.

The string of interest is RVL-RZDE-0A-0 in this case.  The digit of interest is bolded.  Add 1 to that digit to get the version (so this is version 1 of RZDE = Twilight Princess USA)

Maysha

My disc has: RVL-R84E-USA-BO Model No. RVL-006(USA)

So I'm guessing by that, it's version 7. Correct?

dcx2

No, incorrect.  That does not look anything like the version number.  You're looking at the wrong area.

The picture shows the inner ring of the CD, not the outer ring.  It's also on the bottom side, not the top side.  If you can see the game's label on the disc, you're looking at the wrong side.

Maysha

Oh! I'm sorry. I see where you're talking about now.

RVL-R84E-0A-1 USA

is what is on the inner ring on the back of the disc.

dcx2

Yeah, it's confusing because it's on the back side.

You have version 2.  =(  That could explain why the codes aren't working.

Maysha

Aw, that sucks. But at least now I know why! Thank you so much!

Maysha

How complex of an operation would it be to modify the codes to work for version 2? Or would that even be possible?
