I think I found a way of successfully loading gc homebrew without an sd adapter or PSO, but you need ar (going to test in a couple min and will post results)

EDIT: may take longer because I can`t find my GC mem card
EDIT2:couldnèt find my good mem card so I have to reenter SDLOAD

What i've done you don't need an sd adapter (well, you have to put files in the SD card but nothing more), PSO or an USB Gecko. Only the AR  ;).

let me guess... you put it into a GCI file then lanched it as SDLOAD

I got a GC Action Replay (which is supposedly compatible with the Wii) and my Wii doesn't even detect it. When I try to load it I get an error message. I tried GCBooter and it doesn't work. What should I do?

How do I do that? I don't even know what's a MIOS. I'm a major n00b at this stuff

Which GC action replay? (new one that doesn't allow you to input codes, or the old one that allowed you to input codes)
Currently "retired" from hacking codes.

Actually I have both. I still have my old one (v 1.14) but I don't have a GC anymore sadly

hawkeye2777

Alright, here's a few questions first:

1. What firmware is your Wii? (ex: 3.3, 3.2, etc.)
2. What is your region?

Currently "retired" from hacking codes.

Ok, do you have Metroid Prime 3 or Pokemon Battle Revolution? If not, do you have Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, or Mario Kart Wii?

I tried that but I can't run WAD manager. I don't know how to put it on my SD card so that homebrew channel can run it.
