The memory is overwritten alot especially when passing to new areas, it's best to not be sprinting through doorways. I also noticed that this version crashes alot more than the US version.

If you use USBGecko, choose "Config options", then select "Boot language" (so that the "blue bar" is there), and use your D-Pad to scroll until you find "French", then choose "Return to Menu", and finally choose "Launch Game". Note that this ONLY works on games, and not on channels.
