Gecko 2.0? (noob question)

I went to the main Gecko site so I could find some links to finally order a USB Gecko, but instead of the usual site, there was a big "GECKO 2.0" coming soon thingy.

So, my question is this: should I wait for Gecko 2.0 to order a USB Gecko, or will the "old" USB Geckos work with this new software?
