with v5 it has improved support for many 3rd party games that didn't work before, it also has something to do with multidisk games, so if you want the only missing feature in v4 just install it.

if something does go wrong with installing it so that it's corrupt or whatnot you'd have to use anytitle deleter first also otherwise your disk will think it has the update.

also just tried it doesn't require the GC MIOS update it's just there for extra stuff on the update.

just like in ACCF you can install IOS 38 and nothing else on the disk that will fix old IOS's and it will still think you did the whole update. i think it only checks for what is necessary for your game to run.

For some reason when i finished typing that something didn't feel right and i don't have time to check it so if i said something stupid.... it's cuz i had to leave :|

I Believe the MIOS is th IOS used to running GCN Games

Correct. Also, here's a quick guide I wrote up last night on how to do it (use at your own risk): http://board.gscentral.org/showthread.php?t=27503

Does matter what firmware i have before installing that ? i cannot see this page because i have to register, but cannot complete the registration because the imagen verification of six letters doesn't appear (it only appears the typical "X" when the image doesn't exists). Can you send me the tutorial please ? thanks.

You'll need 3.3v1 or older. I don't think 3.3v2 and above will work (due to the Signing bug being patched).

That's odd... hold on, I'll look into that (registration).

EDIT: Try now. Sorry for the inconvience.

Thanks, now i can see the tutorial. I don't understand this: Next, download the AnyTitle Deleter from here. You'll be running this first. Now, run it and delete the copy of MIOS that is on your system. Where i have to put those files in the SD card ? MIOS is a file that have all the Wii games ? I cannot find MIOSv4 to download, wherei can find it ? Thanks.

I have the 3.4 firmware but i'm thinking in formating the Wii to delete this version, because i think that you start with an older version before clicking on "update". I'm getting an action replay, but not the newest version, the one that you can put codes in it . And yes, that was my purpose, i'll try anyways.

Formatting the wii does NOT change the firmware.
It only deletes saves, channels, and settings.

That's not true because formating it deletes the updates. The old action replay would work with Gecko Os that have gamecube mode or GCbooter :D.

hetoan2

yes true because it keeps the newer MIOS try for yourself.

Lol? Then why do people have to download warez to downgrade? Formatting the wii does NOT remove the update, go try it for yourself...

Doesn't work with either (tested it a long time ago).

So what i have to do to downgrade the Wii system menu to v.3.1 or 3.2 ? is there any application that can do that ?

hawkeye2777

I don't think you can do that on 3.4 right now (don't quote me on that though).

In nutshell.

IOS 16 > modified wad installer > cios > IOS downgrader > AnyRegionChanger/cIOS downgrader to 3.2

Ignore the stuff about gamma
