My friend is having trouble installing the homebrew channel

hey guys can you help him out here.
i've given him all the files myself and everything but when he trys to install the twilight hack his wii doesnt reconise there are any files on the sd card so no twilight hack data apears, can anyone help him out?

Indeed, the Wii 3.4 update kills the homebrew channel. This should help. Word of warning though, .elf support in the latest homebrew channel is broken. Make sure you use boot.dol and not boot.elf
