Is there a code or a way to stop my neighbor from moving? He's already packed up and he's one of my favorites.

:runaway: I had to use this amazing smiley.

hetoan2

you can stop your neighbor by talking to him a TON. and i mean a lot. you have to make up for all the times you didn't which would have caused him to move, and even that might not work. and no there's not a code yet, but good idea.

I can't get this code to work...

The code will only work on the 1st character, if you are using 1st char then try the "name editor" code I posted here, don't save just test to see if it works. If it does then I may know the problem of the "transfer catalog" code. Note, to see the effect of the name edit you must refresh the screen, enter another room.

omniferious

Yes, I'm Player 1
And yes the name code works for me.

TNTkryzt

Kewl, give this one a try then. I've modified it so it'll work on all characters.

If it doesn't work then I'm stumped as I've tested it multiple times on different characters and save files and it works fine.

Would there be a way to create a 'grass is full and lush' code without a button activator (similar to the 'flowers always watered' code, where it just applies)?

I'm sorry, I've never actually made a code, so I wouldn't understand how to do such a thing, even though it sounds like it should be easy...

Would anyone be willing to post 'grass full and lush' code without the button activator? I would like it to just automatically apply, the same way that the 'flowers always watered/weeds pulled' code does.

Also, I have a question that someone here might be able to answer... What is the appeal of having a button activator if you don't HAVE to have one? Why would someone add one if it wasn't necessary? Is it just so that if someone decides they don't want to use a particular code, they don't have to, but the other codes in the file will still apply?

hetoan2

take the first line off of the code.

should start with 28 or 20 :D

Duchess

That seems easy enough; thanks!

So, the 'Grass Full & Lush' code, no activator, would be:

206E23C0 0000B010
42000000 90000000
02E92894 0C80FFFF
E0000000 80008000

Without the first line (which is marked by strikethrough)... correct?

(BTW, when I try to press the "Thank You" in the corner to thank you for your post, I get an error message that says "You have already posted a thanks to this post at January 17, 2009, 10:08:01 am".... which I find unlikely given that you just posted it!)

Austin

yes thats it. the button activator is always the first line of a code. and the reason why there are button activators is because some codes wont work without

hetoan2

button activator is not always the first line, for more complex codes there can be activators in the middle and whatnot to turn on different parts of the code.
