well i sent my friend a pic of toon link riding the king ofred lions at an angle u cant get without ocarina and he hasnt even gone as far as the twilight hack so the replays should work

Those aren't going to show in the replays unless we have those codes on. You should mention that in the first post.

A picture is different than a replay. A picture is an actual picture(jpeg or w/e).
A replay is NOT a video. It is a list of input. When you watch it its as the game is actually being played. It just inputs everything you did in the match again. Without the codes on the input wont change and it will look much different.

For example: With the code on you taunt and get a FS.
Without the codes on the you taunt and get no FS, then the rest of the input is fucked.

Things like stages, character chosen &  size mods (Mostly anything that is set before the match even starts) does get saved to the replay though.
