after having my first try with wiird and USNgecko, I stubbled across some problems.
(connecting etc. with gecko Os works fine btw)
I used brawl (pal) as my testing ground, went into training and tried to find p1's damage adress.
when I poked the correct one, I could bring it down to 0, but as soon as I damaged myself again, the damage was that of the
attack (obviously) PLUS the old damage before the poke.
als owhen I tried making a code of it with the GCT (or something) it did nothing, while I near literaly did what was in
dexter's tutorial.

and suggestions?

I think you poked the address of the vulue that is printed on the screen, and that another value changes when you get hit and then the value you poked shows the new value.

no, there was indeed another value that shows the damage on screen but that only makes it directly change back to the old value again.

maybe I should've started with an easier game like galaxy Tongue
