These codes have only been tested in the Remastered Dolby Surround sound version, as that is the only version I have on hand. (I signed up for that replacement.)  (I just got my USBGecko today, along with that remastered disc on monday.)

Full/Infinite Star Power (Does not indicate this on screen, but if you tilt your guitar as normal, the star power does activate.) (Player 1)
42000000 90000000

E0000000 80008000

Full/Infinite Star Power (Player 2)
42000000 90000000
02E58BA0 000042C8
E0000000 80008000

Full Rock Meter (Player 1)
42000000 90000000
02E58A54 00003FFF
E0000000 80008000

Full Rock Meter (Player 2)

02E590D4 00003FFF
E0000000 80008000

These seem to work everywhere.  I have tested every playmode.  There is also a possibility of these codes being made for Guitar Hero Aerosmith as well.  (I have that game as well.)

Edit: Corrected the game code.
Edit 2: Added the required E0000000 80008000 code line to all of the codes.

Whenever you change the base address/pointer, you have to use a E0000000 80008000 at the end of your codes to reset them.
Your codes might work right now, but if you don't do that, you might just break the codes created by other players.

hetoan2

how did you search in the game and not have it crash? >_< i couldn't do it, but i did give up easily. anyways is there any secret or did you just search?

caitsith2

Yeah, crashing was a frequent issue, but it almost never crashes if the game is paused prior to the search.  the problem is the game attempts to catch up the lag in the fret board, and some times the lag is more than enough to cause the crash itself.  Dumping a screenshot or watching the memory viewer doesn't seem to crash the game, but that is where I noticed that the game tries to catch up some lag.

I have another code, for Guitar Battles.

Always Have Battle Power
Note: do NOT complete any battle power sequences, or the Wii will lock up. (Not till I figure out why, or someone else does.  Although I have the offsets for player 2, until I figure out the lockup issue, there is no point in having player 2, as the computer would complete the battle sequence if not prevented from doing so, in career mode.)
42000000 90000000
20E488D4 00000000
04E588D4 00000001
04E59944 0000000X
E0000000 80008000

0 - Amp Overload
1 - Difficulty Up
2 - Double Notes
3 - Steal Power Up. (This might cause a lockup, not throughly tested.)
4 - Lefty Flip
5 - Broken String
6 - Whammy Attack
7 - Death Drain

I only tried doing a score code and didn't try anything else when it constantly froze 0.o, but maybe i will try some others now. thanks for the tip though :)

jayloonar

the battle codes dont work for me (i have ntsc and the re-mastered disc)

hetoan2

#6
at the top of this page it says for mono only not remastered. also. how can you tell? does it say it on the box? i can't tell if the codes worked cuz it ruined my disk reader when i tried too :( <- totally unrelated to the codes

EDIT: sorry i didn't actually see if it said that 0.o it doesn't and it does say remastered. wish i could help you out, but i dont have a working disk slot

caitsith2

Are you certain the battle code is not working?   The game will NOT display the fact that you have the battle item chosen, but you still should be able to fire that item at the opponent.

As for how to tell remastered from the original,  the remastered will have a star near the bottom of the disc label, above "ACTIVISION",  and also it will have the Dolby Pro Logic 2 logo on it.  The original does not have either of these features on the disc label.

rafalfaro_18

Doesn't works for me... Ocarina loads the codes but don't do anything... ;)

jayloonar

yes im sure, the battle codes dont work on the re-mastered discs

hetoan2

they were updated did you try the new ones?

caitsith2

It should, because I made that code, using a remastered disc.  Might be a pointer issue that I cannot solve on my own, because I can't quite get the pointer to change.

hetoan2

did you account for an offset? it may only work on 1 song, which would be a problem.

the_dave

I tried all of these codes and none worked for me and I have the remastered version.  I even plugged them into gecko. Thanks for your work tho.

jayloonar

k, i tried the battle codes on career, but it doesnt work. also whats an offset? the battle codes just dont work for me
