Do you prefer the GameCube Action Replay CodeTypes over the new WiiRD CodeTypes?
- or -
If you are capable of using WiiRD with your GameCube games, do you wish to (for your personal use) use some old GCN AR Codes but with the WiiRD code handler?

Then look no further!
Simply paste decrypted GCN AR codes on the left, press a button and have WiiRD-ready codes on the right!
http://gcn.jaytheham.com/ARtoWiiRD_v0.9.zip

Have fun my friends and please tell me if you have any errors! Cheesy

-Example-

GCN Code input:
8bit if equal bitwise, next 2 lines
8bit pointer at 80047878 with ofset of 13E8 write 57
16bit pointer at 80047878 with ofset 123*2 write 0101

Random Code Name
78047871 00000057
40047878 0013E857
42047878 01230101

WiiRD Code output:

Random Code Name
28047870 FFA80057
48000000 80047878
DE000000 80008180
100013E8 00000057
E2000001 80008000
48000000 80047878
DE000000 80008180
12000246 00000101
E2000002 80008000

Look at that!
It even verifies that the pointer is in mem1 for you!
(updated version will include work-around conversions for ALL GCN AR codetypes. This version has Nearly all of them. Smiley )

NOTE: Great for people who need a hand at understanding WiiRD codetypes! Use the more simple (less powerful) GCN AR CodeTypes to create your codes and before you post, run them through my program for accurate WiiRD ready codes!

Enjoy!

This is a standalone tool that makes Wii codes out of GCN AR codes. The codes would not work with Ocarina because Ocarina can't yet use GCN games.
USB Gecko, however, works on the GameCube and uses WiiRD.

Technically Ocarina can work on Gamecube and GC mode for Wii, but would need an external SD Gecko or similar, as once in GC mode, the front SD access is gone David Blaine style.

lol

I need to get an SD Gecko then. I really want to use WiiRD codes on my GCN games through my Wii. Cheesy
(it's also important to this project because of the offset problem thing that may occur!)
