System Menu Region Modifier

CoD games refuse to download patches if the game region doesn´t match the Wii´s region. Pretty annoying. I´m wondering if a code can be made that modifies the region the game detects? It should be the only way to download the patches cross-regionwise to play a different region version since anything else I tried failed. Noone knows so far. Also codes (hardly) can´t be made due to addresses being not at their current spots. The whole game is affected, not just only multiplayer functions. :-\

Anyone having a tip on making the "System Menu Region Modifier" code though? May work or may not.

I´m basically searching a way to run pal and ntsc-u versions including patch downloads whenever I want without installing another system menu or whatnot. The only way seems a ram modification, so yeah a code. :P

We once encountered that in MKWii, the value was fixed, let's say you changed it to 0x1337, it wasn't volatile. If you restarted the wii and the game, you'd see the value didn't change, 0x1337.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I should be trying that.
MKWii has the addresses needed for outer CoD patches I suppose.

I'm pretty sure you can find that region in any game that requires it. It would be way easier to make a CoD code instead of having to use an external MKWii code, to change it.
