New Wii owner, need help hacking for animal crossing City Folk and in general

I've had my wii system since the beginning of February and have a few games I play on it. I want to hack my wii for Animal Crossing City folk, but I'm worried about what will happen. I've read that updating and such is a way that your wii can become "bricked". I have the new, black, RVL-101(USA) version of the wii (not sure if that's the right serial or not) and can't find a help thread that mentions the newer version and if the hacks work/if the wii becomes bricked.

My questions are:

1. Since I have the newer wii version, is there a different way of hacking (example: using gecko, etc) that I would have to follow, to avoid bricking?

2. I'm not sure how I would find out what version my console is or whether I have already done the updates that would "brick" my wii if I hacked it.

3. If there was an update that I'd already received, and would brick my wii if I hacked it, how do I un-update my wii?

4. And my last question is, can someone help me hack my wii for animal crossing city folk? I have searched a lot about different systems but cannot seem to grasp what it is that I require and need to do to hack that game.

1. Use LetterBomb if it's 4.3u
2. You can find the version in the wii settings menu on the top right.
3. Downgradeing is dangerous I wouldn't recommend it.
4. If you need help with a specific hack just ask about that one. If you don't know what program is needed you need gecko os. Codes for it can be found at the code database. There is a link on the tabs on the top bar on the home page to it. Does this help?

you wont be able to play pirated games by burning them onto a DVD, you need an external hard drive and run a partition manager then format the large partition to WBFS using the WBFS manager (just pm me if you get confused) and plug the external hard drive onto your wii.

We don't discuss how to play pirated games on this forum.
