So a case mod was a bad idea. I just got my whole wii together again and had to take it apart again. The SD card won't stay in and I don't know how get it to stay in. I'm wondering if I should bend the metal brackets and where. I don't know how it got bend. Can someone or anyone please get me a pic of how its supposed to be up close or a suggestion on how to get it back? If I can get some help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what you're talking about...metal brackets.

The SD slot should have a clicky thing that holds the SD card in.

It's sad to see you go...

You should try to find an old Wii that's giving someone disc read errors and buy it off them cheap.  Your disc drive is probably okay, so you could just swap it out.

You could use alittle PC app called TransmitMii 1.3 by Leathl, you can load apps without a sd card from HBC
Also HBC should be able to load apps from USB

the sensor bar is just 2 infrared lights. You cluld just use 2 light tea lights, or (if you're ballsie) carefully cut open the sensor bar cable, and tape an AA battery to the 2 non-black cords that are on the inside. If it works, great! otherwise try switching the cords around on the ends of the battery.

btw I'm just assuming that there are 3 cord like things on the inside, there may just be 2 (if there is a black one, it's the ground...)

oh and, is this the broken part?

Thing is, most cameras nowadays filter out infrared light...

There are schematics on the net that describe how to make wireless sensor bars.

The filter isn't perfect, and a "high intensity source" like an LED will break through and illuminate all the sensor colors evenly, hence why the IR LED will look white-ish.  I use my camera phone to verify infrared LEDs all the time.
