Monster Hunter Tri Gecko Help

So, im trying to Use Gecko 1.9.3.1 to get codes on monster hunter tri i saved txt file as RHME08.txt using Ocarina to save to my SD card. When i boot up Gecko i have the options set as default as when i downloaded gecko (did not touch them except changed the language from default to english) i hit launch game an says Reading Drive/Starting Drive everything goes fine but then all that happens is it has a Green Screen and thats it i cant do anything except eject the CD and Turn the Wii off the Wii remote is unresponsive ( i know how to navigate the menu without the wiiremote) If you could tell me what im doing wrong that would be appreciated sry if im posting this in the wrong section of the forums but ive been searching for couple hours... I also have Homebrew and stuff like that i have A codes folder at the root of my SD card with the RHME08.txt file in it and i have the Apps Folder at the root too containing Gecko1931 folder that contains boot.elf Icon Meta. so im just so confused if you could help.. thanks

I also have Wii 4.3u and i used smash stack for homebrew

Just to confirm, you can boot the game normally if you're not using GeckoOS, correct? Have you converted the .txt file to a .gct file? The converted RMHE08.gct file should go in the "codes" folder.
