Is it safe to install priiloader straight over preloader, or will it cause problems? I am on 4.1U and want priiloader because I heard they fixed several bugs and fixed that endless disc spinning when you turn off your wii. Also, I hope it will fix that system files being corrupted that i get everytime i boot my wii. I just have to boot from preloader everytime now.

I have HBC 1.06 and was just wondering if it is safe and possible to update straight over preloader with priiloader.

Edit: I just updated my HBC to 1.08 because priiloader requires a patched IOS36 to run if you don't have the latest version. I installed priiloader over preloader and it seems to work fine. I have yet to test the bugs that preloader gave me and see if they fixed the bugs.

I did a system check before and after and noticed it changed what my system runs on. (IOS36 before) I guess it updated bootmii too.

[/spoiler] If anyone else wants to do this cause they are not likeing preloader, I am just confirming it is safe as long as you do what I did.

Edit2: I checked that netflix thing and wii fit and other games and it no longer has that horrible message when booting and returning to the system menu! "The system files are corrupted!"

HBC 1.0.8 should be running from IOS58. To do that, install IOS58 v6176, then reinstall HBC 1.0.8.

If you do not know how to get IOS58, wiibrew has a nice IOS58 installer you run from HBC.
