The Linux version of WiiRD is console only.  The WiiRDGUI is a Win32 application.

Gecko.NET runs fine in mono.  You could try using that.

i wouldnt go so far as to say it runs "fine" in ubuntu.  technically it runs.  and it does, in fact, dump memory.

but ive not had the MONO version perform consistently.  i get stuff like inconsistant memory dumps ( freeze the game, dump the memory 2 times and get 2 different dumps ).  also because of the way they are talking to the USB gecko, the program must be run as root.  any files it creates belong to root ( notes, mem dumps, ... ).  its kinda annoying to have to jump through hoops to be able to edit/delete these files.  and once you are done with the program, your USB gecko is broken for other programs ( wiiload, cat, bootmii client, ... ).  the only way ive found to unbreak it is to restart the PC.

im not bashing the program.  it works pretty well in its native environment ( windows ).  but i havent seen the MONO version work in more than a novelty "Oh shit!  It works in linux!" sense. i definitely wouldnt suggest trying to use it productively.
