Trying to get Gecko OS to run on my Wii w/ SM 4.3...please help

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie at this Wii stuff, so I wanted to ask a couple of questions, just to see how far I can get here.

1.  How do I successfully install Gecko OS on my Wii?  It's the red one that has System Menu 4.3 on it.

2.  Is there anything you can use in place of a USB Gecko to load Wiird stuff?  I got an SD Media Launcher for GC and Wii last year, but I'm not sure if it's fully compatible with my Wii.

You don't need to install Gecko OS, you can install the homebrew channel(HBC) and then launch Gecko OS from there.

You only need an usb gecko to create cheats with wiird, for using them, you only need a sd card. A SD-Gecko or similar can't replace it, nobody wrote anything yet in that direction.
