Yeah, I need to know the answer to a question. If you copy the homebrew channel to the sd card and then fromat your wii, can you copy the channel back to it from the sd card without having to use the trwighlight hack?

picano

No.

Once formatted NOTHING that was installed will work until it is done again.

So I can't just copy the channel back from the sd card?

picano

Correct! You need to do the hack all over again.

If you have previously installed it by using the Twilight Hack or disc image, I think you should be able to as long as you are below the 3.3 firmware.

Err... the Twilight Hack does work with 3.3. It has been for the past two months now.

That's not what I meant.  I was referring to the Homebrew Channel on the 3.3 update.  According to Wiibrew.org, if you copy the Homebrew Channel to an SD card, and then delete it, through the Data Management, you will not be able to copy it back onto your console on 3.3, like you could with other official channels.

QuoteIs Homebrew Channel still working?

Yes. Only the old Twilight Hack and things that exploit the signing bug are affected. However, if you copy the Homebrew Channel to an SD card, delete it from internal storage, and then try to copy it back, you will be unable to do so.

just get the new version of twilight hack and HBC and install...
