error 002 on original game disc

K, so i want to play goldeneye wii and i usually would load it via gecko os (orginal game disc) and i am so mad at all those disc updates (they appeared when i loaded it into the wii) so I use preloader to block the disc update, and it seemed to work. Until that is I hit start to test it and I get error 002 on an orginal game disc. I don't know what is going on. Maybe I have to update to play via the disc channel.

I get Error 002 on GeckoOS 1.07b whenever I try to run a game without the proper IOS installed.  Also, in some cases, like with Kirby's Epic Yarn, the same error appears on GeckoOS 1.07b, even though I have IOS56 installed.  Try installing the IOS that the game uses, if you do not already have it.  If you are trying to load it with GeckoOS 1.07b, then try Gecko 1.9.3.1 instead.

EDIT:  I just realized that you said that you were trying to run it on a patched System Menu with Preloader.  If so, then yes, you are probably missing the IOS that the game needs.
