Whenever I use Gecko OS, or Ocarina, it says no codes found, when I have .gct files for the games in the /codes folder. I downloaded the files from GeckoCodes.org. Please help.

EDIT: I got it to work, but now, when I load the game and codes, it says "Exception (DSI) occurred!" What happened?

Could be a buf of the latest Gecko OS. Do you use the latest one(1.9.3.1)?

You may want to check with my Gecko OS mod to confirm if it's Gecko OS that's causing the problem or not:

(for wii games you do not need the cMIOS)

If an exception occured, I would assume that you have conflicting codes, or something. It happens a fair bit when you have to fill variables yourself, since you could make a mistake.

You will also recieve an Exception if you are loading Gecko OS with Bannerbomb. You could either install the HBC, or use Smash Stack. (Two exploits that I have found to work with Gecko)

Hello, Im having the same problem as the first post. My Ocarina doesnt find the games. Ive made 2 folders in the app (Ocarina) in SD card, (the game ID (in this case Animal Crossing: City Folk) and a folder named codes.

I already made a .gct file and put them in both, but still Ocarina cant find them. I would like some help with this if its not to much troble.

Im very sorry for my noobness I just hacked my Wii almost less than a day ago after I found it in my closet. xD

Edit- I also tried to use GeckoOS mod, but I think that Ocarina would be better for me (much easier for new people)

Thanks.

You should have:

SD:/codes/[game-id].gct

And you should use Gecko instead of Ocarina.

Hello, Thank you for a very fast reply, the codes are loaded into he game (yay) but sadly it says now that the file is corrupted (the game loads, but when I hit the Intro Screen it says game file is corrupted)

Edit- I added a new game file with less cheats, but still says corrupted. I will now try to load the game without the cheats and see if it will work.

Edit2- I forgot a sily mistake, I didnt update the game with the save game extractor, so it was trying to load a town that was 2 weeks ago xD

Edit3- Nope still corrupted when I use the cheat app. I can still load the game from the disk channel though.-Shoot, I need to use my old game backup file.

Oh, you're trying to load Animal Crossing with codes?
Some codes cause the game to tell you the save is corrupted, so you need codes with Button Activators.
If you're getting your codes from the code database then they should work fine.

Sadly it is too late. I need somebodies RVFOREST.DAT file that has an upgraded house and donated to the town fund (Spent about 5 hours setting up my town, all to go to waste :( Oh well learn from mistakes.

Romaap

The save is not corrupted, the game only thinks it is.
If you load the game without those codes it will still work.

Its still to late, I tried in an effort to load the game from he disk channel, it shows that my save game is gone. On a another note, when I also loaded the game with the cheats on, it shows that snow was on the ground, meaning it loaded the game from January 1st 2000. I dont know why it did.

Edit- Screw Ocarina, GeckoOS better ^.^ should have listened to you but I guess its too late still. With geckoOS the codes work in real time, and it doesnt crash as often (works about 98% of the time). Thanks for you help. :D

Ok, so, Twilight Princess works, but Brawl doesn't.

EDIT: Another problem I seem to be having is that, whenever a new screen loads on TP, it stops, and my screen turns black.
