Help w/ points card

Hey I just recently bought a $20 wii points card and nintendo gave me error 206602. I went to nintendo.com and they didn't tell me much... Is it because of all those homebrew hacked channels I have on my Wii? Has this happened to anyone else? If so, can you help me? :)

You must update the shopchanal and ios 61 to the newest version.
