Need help with a size hack for Water Warfare (WiiWare)

So far, all I've been able to do so far using WiiRD's search tool/memory viewer is a size hack.  But, unfortunately, I've only been able to do it at character creation and to only two preset values - roughly double the normal max size, and roughly half the smallest size (there's several others but they cause errors).

For those curious, at the memory location 815D063B is the location of the width variable in the character creation menu (for Player 1).  If you poke it at the selection screen with the value FF and then scroll your height down, you can see various settings (most of which are blank) all the way down to 02 (wide), 01 (normal), and 00 (thin), the usual values.  [EDIT: By going higher and higher, like in the 00000400-00000430 range and in the vicinity of 000004A0, I'm finding some other size values.  But so far they're like 16x and 32x normal size, which is uncontrollably huge]

The same applies to 815D063F for the height value.

These do enlarge/shrinken your hitboxes, character graphic, and affect the height of your targeting reticule, but they have zero effect on movement.

Now, given this information, is there any way of being able to search for the actual height/width values (if they exist, and I'm not sure that they do) to even higher or smaller values for height and width?

Also, I'm having trouble coming up with movement-related hacks (such as to increase running/jumping speed and distance so that it scales to size), I tried searching for vertical speed and for vertical location, with no luck (any time I found one that looked correct, it froze the game when I poked it).

Help with either of these would be appreciated.  And yes, I understand the basics of memory searching and of pointers, although I don't really have ASM experience.
