I'm trying to use the cheats for Megaman 9. I got the Homebrew Browser and through it installed Code Manager and Code Downloader. I choose the codes, make the .gct file. However, there is no option to use anything in Gecko, it just wants to automatically load up the disc games instead.

When geckoos loads the game, it will automatically say whether SD Cheat Code found or not (last line in the process message), and if not, either you have not turn on the option to use cheat code in the geckoos config menu, or some issues with the location of your cheat codes in SD card. If you have checked all these, then I am not sure what the problem is.

@Conanac - I'm not sure why, but Gecko 1.9.2 simply didn't display the full options when I tried using it. Gecko 1.9.0.1, however, did, so for now I'm going to try using that. I also double-checked that the options turned on/off were the same in both versions, and still nothing with the 1.9.2 build. Is there perhaps another build that was released later? A revision or something?

@Romapp - I must once again thank you for your incredible ammount of help. Previously, when I first installed HBC BootMii, it refused to install as Boot2 so I installed it as IOS. However, upon your suggestion, I went back to see if I could or not after making sure my SD card was properly unlocked. Sure enough, I uninstalled the IOS form, and successfully installed it as Boot2. After which, I immediately re-backed up the NAND and put the entire contents of my SD card (before I touched the Trucha stuff) in a marked folder on my PC, as well as kept a copy on a Flash drive (can't be too careful).

I performed the Trucha Restorer with no hitches, in fact it was quite simple once I started to use it. Load Channel in Gecko worked normally after this, but would give an error message if I attempted to actually play Megaman 9's channel. [Error Loading Channel] or something of that sort. However, the Smash Brothers Brawl codes DO work now. If I can just get this Error Loading Channel business out of the way then it'd all be super.
