Like I said in the subject, I can't get it to recognize channels, but it has no problems running any of my Wii games through Gecko. In the WiiRd DOS screen, it just repeats this message over and over again after I run WiiRd GUI after launching the channel through Gecko and the VC or Wiiware game is running:

> gamestatus
Sending command
Error sending command
Resetting USB Gecko device driver!
Connection resetted!

I run Gecko 1.9.2 through the Homebrew channel to use WiiRd GUI when I make codes. I used to be able to run this a couple weeks ago by running WiiRd GUI after the Wiiware or VC game was loaded through Gecko, but now it won't work. Help!

Try changing the hook type?

I'm pretty sure that hooktype IV doesn't work on wiiware.

I don't remember who said it, but it sounds familiar :P

Check out my site with codes obviously...

If WiiRd GUI doens't work for wiiware and/or VC games, then what can I use to create codes for these games? I'd like to be able to make up my own codes.

WiiRDGUI works with WW and VC, and there is no other tool than WiiRDGUI (besides WiiRD).

If that's the case, then could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here or guide me to someone who already wrote a tutorial about using Wiird GUI on WW and VC games?

EDIT: I found the problem. I did not have the debugger option turn on in Gecko. Once that was on, WW and VC games were found by WiiRD.
