Help with using gecko

hello, im very new to this GeckoOS and was wondering how i could load the codes in...i don't see where i can load them. Could someone please tell me how? i have Animal Crossing: City Folk cheat codes and would like to use them. I have Cios and Gecko 1.9.1 working thru HBC. I have 4.0u.

If you mean you whant to use the cheat codes which the Hackers have made.

If you whant to Hack new codes for games you will need a USB Gecko.

make a folder in the "SD:/data/gecko" folder named "codes" (with out the " " ) place the .GCT files (file made by code manager) there.

does my laptop need to be hooked up to the wii for these codes to work? sry im sur this is a stupid question but i dont know the answer?
