I heard somewhere that Nintendo commented about the 3.4 update(which makes your wii update itself without letting you get an choice) that they had actually had the features of 3.4 in 3.3 and 3.2, they didn't tell which features, but i guess that it is the auto update feature, now, i thought about what they could do with that, and i came up with the idea that Nintendo is going to continue to try to defeat homebrew until they finally manage to destroy it, and then they activate the auto update feature in all of our 3.2 wiis and homebrew will finally be defeated. My question is then if we can do anything on 3.2 that we can't do on 3.1, because i prefer to be completly safe from Nintendo's attacks against homebrew, even though i'm not completly sure if Nintendo will do that. So... my question, as said before, is: Are firmware 3.2 able to do anything 3.1 can't?

I think that the 3.2 and 3.3 have been examined, and there is no code in it allowing Nintendo to auto-update Wiis.

Infact, apparently, there is actually not any code in 3.4 either that could let this happen! :)

Oh, ok, i just heard it somewhere else and it seems that it was fake since it's been examined, so nevermind about this topic then ^^

Nintendo always had an EULA for their online services.. this EULA always contained statements like auto-updates etc. . They sometimes rephrased it but it always contained lines like "Nintendo might update" and whatever.. to my knowledge no code was even found in 4.0 !
