Yeah...err well, I'm having some trouble with my TV

The reason I'm posting here is it might involve the Wii, plus I'm already logged in here...

Anyway, the problem is that at the very bottom of the screen, things aren't showing up that were before.
(By before I mean 4 or 5 months ago when I last turned my Wii and tv on)
It's like the screen got smaller and the picture got bigger

Is there an option on the Wii to fix this? The only thing I can do on it is sideways movements.
I think it's the TV though...what setting should I look for? I have a rather old TV...
lol sorry for the foolish question, I just never use TVs except for games, and for that I usually only press one button on it:D
Anyway thanks if any of you guys can help

Do you have a regular cathode ray TV (CRT) or a flat (LCD, Plasma) screen. In a CRT screen the cathode ray is moved along using magnets.. if there are magnetic field errors inside your TV the ray might end up too low resulting in a too big picture. Several TVs and PC monitors have the option to modify the picture buildup (for TVs it's sometimes a very small little wheel on the backside while for PC monitors it's done using an onscreen menu). This might help you modifying the power sent to the electric magnets and getting a good viewfield again.

If your TV does not have this option, you could try manually fixing with permament magnets you place around your TV.. however, I recommend you against that as it might also hurt your TV. In that case you probably need to get a new one.

On LCD, LED, Backlight or Plasma TVs this should not happen, if you have one of those.. then I have no idea!

Yeah, I have a rather old and large CRT TV.

Thanks, I'll see if I can find a wheel like that.

I did leave several electronics pretty close to it for a very long time so I can get how that might've happened.
