Gecko 2.0?

I remember reading about this a few months ago.  Just curious, but is this still being worked on?  I remember seeing some screenshots, and it looked like many improvements had been made to it, but I haven't heard anything about it in awhile.

Sadly due to complications at birth Gecko 2.0 didn't make but don't worry, that dirty old slapper the Wii is pregnant again and brkirch is gonna be fathering a new baby boy!
