Need Help with Gecko

Can someone tell me Do i need to purchase the USB gecko device so i can use the region free part or can i just download the Gecko os and use via homebrew

To use region free you just need a wii that has the homebrew channel installed plus gecko os.
Usbgecko is only used to create cheats, but you dont need to have one to use them.

Gecko OS should not brick your wii, every channel thats uploaded on the homebrew browser should not be able to brick your wii.
You can check out applications that can brick your wii and not on www.wiibrew.org.

You can probably find some kind of turtorial video on youtube, we only have turtorial videos on hacking here.
You should try to find code manager (codemgr.exe) to import the codes you want to use. I dont know where to download it, try to search on usbgecko.com
