Okay, I am a bit confused here.

I have a Nintendo Wii and a couple games for it but.. What do I need to purchase in order to use codes with the games? At one place it said the OS and another says Ocarina and I'm just... confused.

you need to buy an SD card :P
nothing else, then you need to put some stuff on it and voila codes for all your games

Assuming of course that you have the Homebrew Channel.  If you don't, see Wiibrew.org for a tutorial on installing it.

What do you mean by hack? Cheating or really hacking codes?

if its cheating install the homebrew channel, requires Zelda and an SD at 2gb. After that download
http://wiird.l0nk.org/wp/download in the only for cheaters section.  then put it in ur SD.

If you want to hack you need the homebrew channel, USB Gecko, laptop or computer close to the wii(not a mac), a brain, and know how to use your brain.
first buy this  http://usbgecko.com/order.htm, then install the homebrew channel, requires zelda and an SD. Third when you receive USB Gecko install it to your computer. Then download the gecko 1.7 and Wiird, connect usb gecko to ur wii, hack some codes

Or, in other words... if you want to use cheat codes that other people have already made and/or play imported games, all you need is GeckoOS (free download), Homebrew Channel (to install you'll need Zelda TP for Wii), and an SD card (usually only a few dollars, and you probably already have one).  If you want to create new cheat codes, or take screenshots of games, or rip games, you need to purchase a USB Gecko in addition.

Okay.. I think I am doing this wrong.

I finally have Homebrew Channel and... how do I put codes in/activate them? I am doing it wrong I believe...

My SD card has the directory:
F:/apps/GeckoOS/***

I tried searching the forums and I cannot find it, I even tried saing the .txt to the SD card, nothing happens.
