Codes apply but dont work

I made a txt file into a gct format and put them in the codes folder. Gecko says "applying codes" but in game nothing happens. Can anyone help me with this? Gecko says its working

i am on 3.2U firmware and i installed all the cios and ios and w/e when i downgraded so im all fine for hacking.

1. What game (and region) were you trying to play?
2. What codes were you using?

all usa games and i tried moon jump on mario galaxy and i tried moon jump and all trophies on ssbb

Post the code you used and which button did you press for the moon jump.

i figured it out. i wasnt putting them in via a manager app for windows. Works now.
