I have Wii v3.3.2U and I ran DVDx Installer and clicked Normal Install. But....

Error -2011 InstallingDVD Stub Ticket
Error -2011 Installing Stub

And when I ran Save Extractor I followed the directions, and it said dumping savegame.....(please wait)..OK!

Then the text disapeared and I pressed POWER to go back to teh Wii Menu. My Animal Crossing Save is still un-copyable.

Yeah, you will not be able to install DVDX on a Wii that has the '3.3V2' firmware or higher.  As for the Save Extractor, the save file(s) should be stored in a 'WIISAVES' folder on the root of your SD card, assuming that it worked properly.  It will not allow you to copy it through the System Menu.

Ahhh...well I made a video already of what I did. I'll put it on YouTUbe.

So you want me to put Save Extractor in a WIISAVES folder?

D:/CANON/apps/wiisaves/boot.dol/

Like that?

I REALLY  hope DVDx gets an update sometime. DO I also need Save Installer? Or is the current Save Extractor update good so I dont need it to put saves  on. Im not hacking AC:CF until I test it once.

Romaap

he meant that if you use saveextractor the saves will be in D:/wiisaves

It should look like the following...

D:/CANON/apps/anyname/boot.dol/

Assuming that the Save Extractor works properly, you should see one of the following folders on the root of your SD card.  I can't remember exactly which one it makes...

D:/CANON/WIISAVES/

D:/CANON/WIISAVE/

Inside the 'WIISAVES/WIISAVE' folder, you should see a few different files.  These files are unencrypted, so they will not look like a standard save file.  Yes, if you want to place those files back onto your console, you will need the Save Installer.

Also, I am not sure, but '3.3V2' might break the Save Installer/Extractor.  If that is so, then unfortunately, you will currently not be able to copy this save.

Is there ANY way to install DVDx on a V3.3.2 Wii? I REALLY wanna play Mario Kart Wii. I heard something about Trucha or something.
WAIT!

When I pick Advanced Install, it shows IOS36, can I change it to something else to work with v 3.3.2

Igglyboo

once again
Take your pirate shit and go somewhere else.

I dont see how this is a bad question.  ;)

Romaap

because you want to use a backup loader.
if nobody used homebrew for loading games they didn't buy, Nintendo wouldn't have to make anti-homebrew updates!

What's the point in watching DVD's? The only reason is if you want your lens to go bust on you in 10 seconds flat. We don't support piracy so don't bother asking, you've only got trouble heading your way if you carry on.
