i dont own a usb gecko althogh i want 1 (i just cant fork out 50 bucks for 1 right now) so i was wandering if you have to have 1 to use wiird codes for games or if you can just do it throgh ocarina or gecko OS and if so where am i suposed to put the code files on my sd card?

Romaap

just put the gct with the proper name in X:\codes
then launch GeckoOS and press launch game

sweet, thanks iv been asking everyone about this and no 1 had an answer. i actualy figured out another problem that was stoping me and i feal completely retarded for not trying it, i guess geckoOS has a habit of not booting correctly if you have a gc mem card pluged in lol.

Romaap

That's probably because it thinks it is an USBGecko, but I'm glad it works now :D

Darklinkx411

so that means that theres another way of getting Gecko codes without the usb gecko because just like bio
i dont own an usb gecko right now?

bioshadow

Romaap

actualy jassim, i havent had a chance to test out the new version becaus my dumb ass sis deleted my homebrew chanel after i updated my wii (i deeply regret that now) so foxx's patch may work i havent heard any 1 els complane about it since the update. and 1 more question.. remember im still new to AR and gecko so i havent had time to learn how it all works.  I understand that for some (like item modifiers) you have to put in the item values so can you change those on the fly or do i have to leave the game, edit them, then start the game again?
